You also need to build the kernel with autostart on boot for devfs.

I'm using grub and I've never used it before. IIRC unlike lilo I don't have to run anything for it to be "seen" the next time I boot the PC.

In the meantime, I'm still getting an error about /etc/rc line 80... and then
I get this huge paragraph about installing DEVFS into the kernel.


I haven't been able to find anything in dmesg or the logs (metalog is new to me as well)...
