hi to all, i have a toshiba satellite notebook and i have bought a toshiba mini-pci wlan card (PA3189U-1MPC). i have already read the posts at http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=26716&highlight=pcmciacs but it has not helped yet. a friend of mine alread tried to get it work without success.
the card is correctly detected and the drivers are loaded:

cipsec0 no wireless extensions.
the problem is i think, that it isn't possible to set the wlan freq parameter
using iwconfig:
moritz root # iwconfig eth1 freq 2.4320
Error for wireless request "Set Frequency" (8B04) :
SET failed on device eth1 ; Operation not supported.
I have no idea how to solve this problem
