Same for me, a Eterm directory just containing an *empty* Manifest file.
Looks to me like like Eterm moved to eterm and the Manifest "ghost" file
got lost...

Yep. Still the same error. Could you do a "emerge -Dup xemacs" to see if
you get the same error?
