Ok guys, it seems the upgrade of Mozilla to r2 and Xfree to r3 really screwed up my system... downgrading both packages didn't help. Mozilla still crashes (except when I run it as root), KDE programs still show little square boxes instead of normal characters. I've set my locales correct, so that couldn't be a problem. I think it's just ridiculous that an upgrade of the 2 packages mentioned can ruin my system. Do you have any suggestions before I re-install my system and probably go back to debian ?
