I'm using KDE, but emerged nautilus, because konqueror doesn't allow me to arrange icons manually (and thus is totally useless for me as a file manager). Nautilus compiled successfully and looks fine. The problem is that it sort of takes over my desktops--the panel is still as it was, but desktop backgrounds and icons were substituted by the Gnome defaults! Upon quiting nautilus, things return to normal. Is this Microsoftish behavior normal, or did I do something wrong? Thanks for any enlightement.
