Before issuing the command "startx", as root issue "modprobe nvidia" without the quotes) then still as root do"lsmod" check the output of that command to see that nvidia is listed. if so, become <USER> again and do "startx" this should do it, If not report back with errors. -- Regards, Ernie 100% Microsoft and Intel free -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list
