First of all, emerge ufed and use it to select and deselect use flags. Doing it by hand is much more tedious and error prone.

set. Are they somewhere described, I don't want install something which
I'll never use (like mozilla mail).

Yes. They are described in /usr/portage/profiles/use.local.desc and /usr/portage/profiles/use.desc. However, these descriptions are incorporated in to ufed so use that to view them.

Here is a brief outline.

-- mozaccess - http://www.mozilla.org/projects/ui/accessibility/
-- mozcalendar - http://www.mozilla.org/projects/calendar/ (disabled in ebuild itself; deps are swig and libical-moz)
-- mozilla - optional mozilla support in other applications such as evolution
-- mozinterfaceinfo - http://www.mozilla.org/scriptable/interface-plans.html
-- moznocompose - disables composer ** and mail client ** in mozilla
-- moznoirc - disables irc client in mozilla
-- moznomail - disables mail client in mozilla
-- moznoxft - disable xft in mozilla (if enabled gives clearer and less blurred UI)
-- mozp3p - http://www.mozilla.org/projects/p3p/
-- mozsvg - http://www.mozilla.org/projects/svg/
--mozxmlterm - XML enabled Terminal Client for Mozilla

You'll find that you won't need all the extra functionality.

Google is the coolest.

HTH.
