Hi, 
        Have you seen this document http://plugindoc.mozdev.org/faqs/phoenixlin.html 
It talks about how to get flash installed as well as java. There is also a 
windows version of this document outlining the issues. it worked for me 
putting Firebird on my Win200 system. I haven't tried putting flash into 
firebird on Linux yet, but will do so soon.
