Depends: If want suspend mode and APM provides it on your machine use APM, if ACPI makes problems use APM, otherwise use ACPI. The big difference is that ACPI is still work in progress and lacks some features, but APM is not fully supported by many modern laptops. > 5) Framebuffer or not ? > > Is framebuffer power consuming ?
