Hi, folks. I'm a little curious about what you have set CONFIG_HZ to in your configs. On the P3/850 that I use as my desktop, it's set to 400, roughly, but I'm not sure that it's as snappy as it could be. How much does CONFIG_HZ affect system responsiveness? Are there any typical signs that it's overdone in some way? I'm originaly an Amiga guy, I've never stopped expecting my window interface to respond immediately to input no matter how loaded the CPU is.
