The /dev/SWAP is a generic entry in the fstab. Try
replacing it with /dev/xxxx where xxxx is whatever
partition your swap is on (/dev/sda1, /dev/hda5,etc.).

hi again, another odd question from an install that i
thought was flawless,
but wasn't.
During boot i get the error saying that there is no
/dev/SWAP. So in trying to
do a MAKEDEV, the computer complaines that because i'm
using devfs that i
can't use MAKEDEV. So if devfs is incharge of making
SWAP, how do i tell
devfs to make SWAP??
thanks in advance,
