I've just installed a Sony +-R IDE DVD burner. There are several streams of DVD utilities - cdrtools-dvdr, dvd+rw-tools, dvdrtools, and perhaps others that I am not yet aware of.
Which tools do I want and why? Is the stable version of the tools adequate, or do I wnt the alpha/unstable versions?
