Since quite some time I setup hr_HR.UTF-8 (for Croatia) on my box (I'm still
at SuSE waiting to get pre-ordered V1.4 CDs) and I'm quite happy with Unicode.

Beeing non-US users I know the frustration of different encodings and my Mutt mailer
is happy showing "strange" chars - no boxes :-)

ps. Vim, DocBook, ConTeXt .. are also very happy with utf-8 :-)
