Hi I'm installing the livecd onto a Pentium 200Mhz MMX system with 160Mb Ram 8gb hard drive. If you need more info on system let me know
So I download the x86 basic cd image (~80mb gentoo-basic-1.4-20030803.iso) and started to install with this cd. I downloaded Stage1 tarball and extracted it over my /mnt/gentoo. I follow these steps: # mount -t proc proc /mnt/gentoo/proc # cp /etc/resolv.conf /mnt/gentoo/etc/resolv.conf # chroot /mnt/gentoo /bin/bash Illegal Instruction Any Ideas why I would have this problem? any recomendations?
