Sharath, ive encountered the same problems... not sure how to fix it tho.. just wating for em download. :( Ernie : install docs say # mount /dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom # cp -a /mnt/cdrom/packages/* /usr/portage/packages/ I tried moving them to /usr/portage/distfiles but it didn't make any difference for me.
