It seems it supports DMA and UDMA and that iti is enabled:

# hdparm -i /dev/hda
[...]
 DMA modes:  mdma0 mdma1 mdma2
 UDMA modes: udma0 udma1 udma2 udma3 udma4 *udma5
[...]

and

# hdparm -i /dev/hdb
[...]
 DMA modes:  mdma0 mdma1 mdma2
 UDMA modes: udma0 udma1 udma2 udma3 udma4 *udma5
[...]

So, what may be wrong then ? (I didn't enable anything on the HDs yet)
