I found a program called kavi2svcd. There is no ebuild for it, so I created a quick n' dirty one. I'll clean up the ebuild and submit it to bugzilla.
If anyone is interested, I submitted a *rough* ebuild[1] to bugzilla. This is the first ebuild I've created so please don't yell if it doesn't work :) I installed it with an empty DEPEND and then filled it in afterwards.
