its been a while since I set it up, but i seen to have hpoj and hpij packages installed. There is a special service that runs in the background, which is hpoj ... I'm not sure ... but hpij may not be needed. I think once you've got hpoj configured properly ... you should see the appropriate driver in the web based cups config tool. If you buy one and want copys of my /etc files .. i'll send them to you or post them or whatever.
