Hello, I'm new to the list, linux, and gentoo and I'm having some problems getting my system up and running. I've made it through all of the installation steps but the system hangs during the boot process. The message 'kernel panic - tried to kill init' is the last line printed during the boot process. I built the gentoo-source kernel with the default settings and used the genkernel utility. Did I miss something in the installation?
