Timo, I'll keep ebay in mind. I was sort of avoiding APC serial based units. My project studio PCs are all dual boot (for instance Windows running GigaSampler and Linux running soft synths) and in the past APC made you change which model of serial cable you had to use for Windows vs. Linux.
