I installed alsa following the gentoo guide. There are no apparent
errors, but I can't get stereo sound, only mono no matter what I do.
Moreover (even before alsa was installed) I can't get stereo through LineIn; it seems
that input is directed to PhoneIn (entry 20 in smixer table below). Hardware fault?
Any idea?
