What $MAILGID is mailman supposed to have? The ebuild sets it to 280 but postfix is 207 and apache is 81. Any help would be much appreciated. Mailman has been a source of considerable grief for me.
Did you try to change the GID in the ebuild itself? Don't know if this is the solution, but IIRC that did it for me...
