Hmm - I just checked the change that I suggested and it seems to be
working
for me. What do the logs say?
run:

tail /var/log/qmail/qmail-smtpd/current | tai64nlocal

find the connection you made - see if there are any errors or if it
just ups
the status and exits 0

Thanks,

This tells me:

2003-09-10 22:44:14.988547500 tcpserver: warning: dropping connection, unable to read /etc/tcp.smtp.cdb: file does not exist

So now I found on google: http://cr.yp.to/qmail/faq/servers.html, this helped me, so I don't have any problems anymore.

Thanks for your help,

Martin
