I am using a Dell Inspiron 8100 notebook running on a 1GHz processor with 512 megs of RAM.
I was able to change the grub.conf file. All I did was remove pcmcia card and I was able to run Gentoo. When I emerged info, I got a lot of stuff. Not sure what lspci is. Trust, I am a real newbie on this one. Hate to say it but I need a little more help here:( I learned more about Linux from the stage 3 install than I would ever had expected.
