Anytime your looking for software, so emerge -S or freshmeat.net When I was messing with X, just about all of them had an alarm clock.. Or are you talking a console one?? If so, cron is always usfull.. You can just set a cron job to run something that will wake you.. I use to have a cron job to run a console based MP3 player...
