Hello - I've followed the installation directions up to 'emerge sync'. After I run that I get a message that says I need to update portage. So I 'emerge portage'. The problem is that it is now frozen on the 'checking if javac works...' step. What should I do now? (Besides restarting it. Already tried that). I've also tried 'USE="-java"' but that doesn't help :( What should I do? Thanks, Harold
