FWIW, nslookup is deprecated. It's better to use 'host', which is in net-misc/host.
I never understand this: I'm sure it is possible to get `dig` to behave less verbosely, but it always seems to display for more information than I require. Even with the "this program is depreciated" message, I find the output of `nslookup` far more convenient.
