Hi!
I get this message when trying to emerge ttmkfdir (needed for xfree).
I had the same prob on my first installation (this is my 2nd), but dont remember what i did, xfree is installed there - but anyway: Do you have an idea how to handle this?? I cannot locate the .lock file. Is it a file?? I did an updatedb, locate ttmkfdir.o.lock and "find / 'ttmkfdir.o.lock' - but nothing. How can i remove it??

Here's the full output of the emerge:

groovemaster edb # emerge x11-misc/ttmkfdir

### end of output

For now i just injected the package with
groovemaster edb # emerge x11-misc/ttmkfdir-3.0.9 -i

BTW, Before i had to find out, that one needs to specify the concrete version of the pkg. First i tried:
groovemaster edb # emerge x11-misc/ttmkfdir -i
!!! x11-misc/ttmkfdir is not a specific cat/pkg-version, skipping...

So my additional question here is: Why isn't the latest version installed automatically as usual when doing emerge?

I don't know exactly, what ttmkfdir does. Is it needed? Anyway, i'd really like to see the problem above solved.

have a nice day,

Florian
