Continuing with my kernel build saga.... I decided that seeing the
gentoo-sources-2.4.20-r1 kernel worked at one time I would mv the
.config for -r7 and cp the .config fron -r1 to -r7 and do "make
oldconfig" I answered no to all new options and the build errored
with:

I find a few references to the message in google but I haven't found
the fix. I know that I'm becoming a PITA but I'm getting really
frustrated here.
