Did you mean /etc/init.d/net.eth0? ... "net.eth0" is in /etc/runlevels/default. So I looked at the /etc/init.d/net.eth0 script and it looks like it has dhcp enabled there, but I am not much of a shell programmer so I could have misunderstood. Can anyone verify that looking at the attached file? The final question would be "If it's in /etc/runlevels/default and the net.eth0 script has dhcp enabled what else do I need to do in order to get the network going?"...
