I tried to emerge Open Office 1.1_rc4 (binary) on my laptop. I unmerged first the 1.1_rc2 I had installed. I tried that for 3 or 4 times without any success! I didn't noticed any special message during the emerge process. When running ooffice I got a message claming it couldn't run setup and aborted! Inspecting the /opt/program dir I noticed that there were some files missing. I just can remember "soffice" for example!
Finally, I tried to emerge logging the output. "Unfortunately" at this time everything went OK! OO is running fine! Besides,
this time I forgot to turnoff my openmosix connection to my
desktop. At all other trys I am sure the connection was turned off.
Did this happen to anybody else? What could be wrong?!
