Hey All, I've got sendmail explicitly emerged but everytime I do that (the first time on a machine) I end up with ssmtp as well... and when ssmtp is present sendmail fails to start or work. (I get messages about being unable to find port 25) As soon as I unmerge ssmtp and re-emerge sendmail (which reinstalls sendmail only and not ssmtp) everything works like it should.
In reading the description of ssmtp I shouldn't need it if I have sendmail itself. So why does it keep coming back when I try to update world? Thanks! Matt -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list
