Just follow the docs on http://mythtv.org and you will be fine. I have it running on my old dual 500piii with 2 160G maxtor drives. Runs pretty good but it would be better if I had a Hauppauge pvr250, hardware encoder, cause the 500piii's are over worked. I would say if you have a 1Ghz or better pc you will be fine, I would avoid any of the ati tv products and get some thing from the Hauppauge wintv line instead.
