Where is the genkernel documentation hiding? I would like to find out some details such as does it use distcc, or ccache, what options can it take ...
It appears that as it doesn't have even basic documentation, it should not have been released into stable use. Was it QA'd? bunyip root # man genkernel No manual entry for genkernel bunyip root # info genkernel bunyip root # genkernel -h Unrecognized option "-h" bunyip root # genkernel -help Unrecognized option "-help" bunyip root # genkernel --help Unrecognized option "--help" bunyip root # I have finally gotten genkernal to work on a dell i8.2k laptop, but eventually had to customise the kernel so much, that any gains from autodetecting are basicly lost.
