I do not know what is iBook and which type of printing service it uses, but- modified /etc/cups/cupsd.conf like this:
LogLevel debug <Location /> Allow From {client's IP}
Just a guess but I have
BrowseAllow All
in my /etc/cups/cupsd.conf on print server and I am able to print from my
iBook with no problems at all. You could also specify just a single ip if
you wanted instead of All (i.e. BrowseAllow {client's IP} )
what I can say for sure it doesn't work for another gentoo PC with CUPS on it...
i.e. I added "BrowseAllow All" direction to cupsd.conf on server and
restarted cupsd, but command "lpstat -h {server's IP}" on client still ends
with no output (return code "0") ...-- [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list
