Does anyone know of a way that I can run a long job (from a shell, not GUI but takes days) so I can reboot the machine without losing the work done so far.
The only way I can think of is to use vmware and sleep it over the reboot, but I would prefer something that does not have any overhead: this takes long enough as is! BillK -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list
