have hacked on the original ebuild created by Leon Breedt & Stuart Herbert,
with the following changes:
1. have created a new init script, which works around the (apparent) fact
that start-stop-daemon can't write a pidfile after going suid
2. have upgraded the files installed to the latest version, 2003.1
3. have added the new gui, p4v, which is distributed in RPM format.
( slight hack using rpm2targz, which i've just realized I should add to
the dependencies :)
It's still x86 only, I'll work on ppc soon, but will need help on other
platforms.
