Actually, they do put their stuff back into Wine and are one of the major 
contributors to that project.  You may want to try a current version of Wine 
before buying Crossover Office as you may well fine IE works (5.5 probably) 
-- CO offers quality installation tools and so other features in addition to 
what you'll get with Wine.
