Cool. I'll go back and look at that again carefully. The values I gave you before were the ones on my PlanetCCRMA Redhat box. Those values are probably specific to the way Fernando built those RPMs. There is something strange going on with my system and Jack. qjackctl (nd Jack in a terminal) ran, and then it wouldn't run. I finally did a complete power down, rebooted, and it ran, once, and then it wouldn't run again. It seems to be complaining about shm stuff which is why I asked what you did. I've just rebooted and Jack is running with qjackctl. I can stop and restart it fine right now. Very strange. I haven't had problems like this in a long time.
