Hi,

I have followed the 'File transfer with SSH' tread and have a question
about it.
If you want to mount volumes with shfs I suppose that both server and
client have to run shfs, and that SSH only will not be enough?
If so, are there server versions of it for Solaris? (my server OS)

Actually, the server only requires ssh (Maybe it has to be openssh, I'm unsure on that point).

I actually started using shfs with version 0.32 yesterday (for kernel 2.6 support), and this morning an ebuild for 0.32 was put in portage (as i was writing one a dev beat me to it :). I've been mounting things like my public_html from my server with no special software (on the server).

It's really kinda neat, and alot easier than NFS on TCP tunneled through ssh port forwarding :)
