[gentoo-user] Kernel Sources

I've read through the kernel docs on the Gentoo site.  I 
use xfs-sources now because I use the xfs file system.  I 
assume I can merge any kernel source and then use 
menuconfig to tell it to include XFS in it's file systems. 
Is that correct?
