I had a smaller version of your problem a while back (a year or so ago). My solution was somewhat simpler. I unmerged the offended application, then re-emerged it, at which point it picked up the missing dependencies. It's simple, but not necessarily fast. -rex -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list
