Try something like "env CCHOST=???? emerge gcc" to build a cross compiler. Just a guess looking at the ebuild. Make sure gcc-config is installed before use in the cross compile. Look at gcc-config -l so see if the cross compile profile is there (gcc-config is also a package wrapper for various gccs). > I want build gentoo system for x86_64 (opteron).
