In my initial post, I was running dosemu under aterm (within X obviously). I also tried it within cygwin rxvt (under windows) and ssh'ing to my machine. With these two cases, the arrow keys did not work. However, I also tried running dosemu under a plain old Linux virtual console (i.e. no X). This time the arrow keys worked correctly. Back in X, I also tried it under a "vanilla" xterm and it worked. Hopefully I'll get a chance to do some more investigating tonight, but right now it appears the problem has something to do with how my terminal passes keystrokes to dosemu. Thanks for the feedback!
