That's entirely dependant on how many machines you have, their speed, and the number of parallel threads the compile allows. For example I could have 37 Dual Operons * and a program which could be compiled with 38 threads, or 37 Opterons and a program of similar size to the first that was limited to just 1 or 2 threads.
