That's a point. I probably won't install ccache at the moment because it invokes such details i don't want to take care of right now (still installing my system).

I guess it's only a matter of how large one's own projects are;
if one doesn't work on big projects, the advantages using ccache
are eventually limited after all, while distributed compiling
seems to be a must-have on all machines.
