Oh, that I knew, but it doesn't help in this case. Since the partition /usr/portage was in was full, all I needed to do was move it to some place that wasn't full. Since I had an existing 20GB partition that was 90% empty, adding 1.5GB to it was no big deal, but it had to be a directory with a simlink. I thought about taking that partition and broking it into two, and then mounting that partition at /usr/portage, but grub (and all of Linux) is sort of picky about partition numbers changing that I didn't want to deal with it. - Mark -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list
