since a week or so each time I try to emerge something that uses sed I get

This is when I try to emerge sed. It's the same with wget, epiphany,
gnome-panel and so on.
The 1st errror message is still the same : Unterminated 's' command
I've already recompiled sed manually (./configure make and copy sed to /bin)
but the problem is still the same.
Any hint out there ?
