i using both ldap and mysql. ldap as interface and mysql as backend. all setting totally stored in mysql db (need build ldap with mysql support).
prefer using mysql 4.1. work very stable (alpha version!) for me and support utf8. many software direct using mysql (exim, courier-imap, maildrop etc). other using ldap. more than 2000 users. mail, webmail, ftp, maillists, ssh login, etc. servers on freebsd, macosx, and now linux (gentoo). -- Miroslav Ris -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list
