Since I "downgraded" openssl from 0.9.7 to 0.9.6, wget fails. I have therefore tried to remerge wget, but it fails with the following lines:

gcc -I. -I. -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -DSYSTEM_WGETRC=\"/etc/wget/wgetrc\" -DLOCALEDIR=\"/usr/share/locale\" -O3 -march=athlon-xp -funroll-loops -fprefetch-loop-arrays -pipe -I/usr/include/openssl -c ftp.c

I tried to remerge openssl again, but it doesn't help.

Any suggestions would be very welcome!

wget is necessary for a number of ebuilds to work.

Thank you,
